Love your website. I live in Northern Ireland and had not heard of some of the places to visit - like Kinbane Castle!

I read about the Gobbins Path on Islandmagee and how it had fallen into disrepair. There is still a good section of path which runs from the town of Whitehead to Black Head. It is a beautiful walk on a sunny day and you can walk up to the lighthouse on the top of the headland. Lookout for the smugglers' cave on the lower path too!

From the top of the cliff (if you are lucky) you can sometimes see porpoises and dolphins swimming in the sea below. It is also a place to look out for Northern Ireland's only reptile, the Common Lizard.

I am uploading a couple of pictures.

Philip,

I am delighted with the photos! Thank you very much.

Yes, indeed this is a great path to walk and the smuggler's cave is such a treat!

Thank you for visiting my-secret-northern-ireland.com.

Have a great day,
